URGENT!

class outing on new year eve, 31st dec!
meet at harbourfront mrt station at 10am, then we're gonna go sentosa! bring whatever that is necessary like extra clothings, frisbee, volleyball, mat, and anything else playable. (EXCLUDING PSP!)

at night we're gonna have a bbq.
it will be either immediately after sentosa. or maybe we go home and shower or sth first then meet up.. but its quite redundant since after bbq need to shower again right.
it might be at boonlay but tzechong say he may not be able to book the pit. so please, if anybody's hse nearby got bbq pit, please inform chua tzechong abt it. and go and book the pit. he is the organiser of this outing. LOL.
If you dont want to have bbq, suggest something else that you think is more fun! lol. hope to see most of you on 31st december because its the last class outing of the year!
oh please tag on the tagboard about whether you can make it.

Hey fellow Jellybeans.

it's been a year already.
Time has a way of passing so fast eh?
=/

2 years we spent together,
how memorable was every day.
although there were sad departures in 07,
our happy memories can easily outnumber them.

in 2007, let's admit it,
we were not that bonded were we?
we had really obvious cliques and never left them.
but as time being with the Jellybeans decreased,
we bonded together, and slowly became a class.

but 2J'08 was not JUST a class.
it was the most interesting and lively family of 33 jellybeans there's ever been.
we own all the competitions,
we had our very own 2J accent!
and although we made teachers angry,
they always ended up liking our class most dun they?

"er.. splat?"
"NAW LA NAW LA"
"Eh, B C for cari"
"NI ZHONG REN"
"你.. 都没有 cock!"
These are just a few of our invented phrases.

I really cannot imagine saying these phrases in the new class,
where NOBODY gets the joke, cos they arent frm 2J'08.
We had a unique class history that none of the other classes had.
we went through times together, as a class.

CLASS CHALET

hey jellybeans! in case you guys still dont know (-.-) class chalet is on the 10th- 12th of nov (mondy to wednesday) :D

in the meantime, you guys can still give suggestions on what to do during class chalet? lolol.

and please pay $10 to class treasurers (ht and sm) if you havent done so ASAP. tyvm (:

so the check in time on the 10th of nov (monday) is actually between 3pm to 8pm.

but obvsly we are going to check in at 3pm, so... everybody who's going on monday please meet at pasir ris mrt station at 2.30pm.

and if you're gonna be late if you're meeting us, please sms cari so that we can wait for you?

or you can tell her in advance if you're meeting us.

after we check in we'll most prolly slack awhile before starting bbq?

one more thing.. the chalet there got no dvd/vcd player i think :P

... 10 months 20+ days only got 21 posts. That means around 0.065 posts a day. No la not really accurate.

Okay now lets recall what we have gone through or something, before all of us forget these 2 years. Frankly speaking I've forgotten all those times I've spent with my P6 class, and I really want to write how I feel now in case next time I forget 1J/2J.

Events that I can remember. from 1J

First day of school
Feeling quite excited. And also feels that 1J will not be as good as my P6 class. I was wrong.

E and C week?
Quite fun. The electives. But all of us did not do the same electives. So I shall talk about the camp hehe. Camp was quite fun. Tried our best in all the games and those stuffs. Benjamin and Chengyu cleaned toilets and were praised by teachers. Performance was ownage. Especially the beatboxing. JUST KIDDING. no la the table thing was quite creative. And I still remembered yangshuo was there too. Trying very hard to make the whole class cooperate. Got champion in the end YAY.

Leaving
Slowly yangshuo, sir (mr rendy lee, incase you all forget), mr tan(history), mr tan(chem), miss lee(biology) leave us. Did not cherish the time they were with us.

Ah I cant remember anymore. Feel free to add on.

This year. the west malaysia trip. Perhaps someone can add photos all those and put on class blog to make everyone remember the trip. First trip we went as a class together.

Miss Chen left too. zzz.

splat. I think west msia trip was really a great bonding session with 2J. And Mrs ong was damn funny. LOL.

Well I feel that, er, definitely most of us will hate to leave 2J, but thats how life is. We still must get on with our studies. School is not really a place that you can stay with your good friend forever, or maybe you may not stay with your good friends forever in your life. There will be incidents where people in your class do something wrong and makes you unhappy and might even depise or ostracise them. Well learn to forgive and forget. Being unhappy with someone is like a huge heavy load on you and forgive them and you will be happy too. It is a win-win situation when people forgive and forget as they gain another friend.

I know you people have people that you dislike in this class, but, it is really a golden, or maybe diamond opportunity for us people to get chosen to be in the same class. If we leave as a class with separate cliques, the things we have gone through together will be forgotten as soon as the speed of light can travel in vacuum. Just kidding.

Like throwing a stone and a handful of sand into water. The rock stays together while sand separates like mad. I hope 2J will be like the rock. We must all learn from jellybeans. Although they have different colour and different taste, they learnt to live happily together in the glass bottle. (Idea from 2K class blog LOL, but it makes sense anyway)

People, Cherish the time you have now with 2J, if not next year you only care about your own class already. And also pick your subject combination wisely.

The last thing we do together or maybe have fun together is the class chalet. I really hope everyone will be present. Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

wahhh. i trial and error for so long before getting to this blog to post.

This is not gonna be a looong post or whatever.
I just have this sudden urge to post this.
This is just what I feel from the bottom of my heart.

Have you guys ever paused to wonder how we became so close together?
All these that we went through, really bonded us to be a class we are now.
Be it good or bad, happy or sad things. But through them, we grew to know each other more and more and made very close friends among ourselves.

Every jellybean counts. We've been through so much together, and yes, I know for sure that there may be people that some of you may not be very pleased with.
Don't wanna lecture everyone here or whatever, but, now that I've reflected, I think no one has any right to ostracize anybody. No human is perfect. You know that you're not perfect, so don't expect others to be.

Yes, there may be people who you're not very used to. But again, no one is perfect. So shouldn't we, as classmates, accept them for who they are? We're a class, and I think we do have the spirit. But sometimes we neglect some people and make fun of them. May be funny to us, but I'm sure the person doesn't feel good.
Always put yourself in others' shoes.

I hope this post at least helped to change what some of you people think here.
I've been bad and now I feel guilty bout it. :l
Really, I'd like my class to be 34, not 33, not 32.

Just something I want you guys to know, hehe.
I think some classes envy us for being so bonded :D

We wont be coming back.

We wont be hanging out as often because we are on different tracks.

HI JELLYBEANS! Whee I'm slacking on what's supposed to be the day before science practical. lol. Anyways I'm here to say JIAYOUS JIAYOUS JIAYOUS! Science practical tmr! WE CAN DEFINITELY BREEZE THROUGH IT! I mean what's various tubes of chemicals as compared to us, the wonderfully delicious jellybeans? We shall beat those experiments! Keep calm and cool and we shall all get A1! Rmb to bring your calculators and long rulers.

Some pointers:

Remember to record your readings in the correct decimal place, the average reading should always have one more decimal place.
Take note of the components that are supposed to be in a table and remember to include units in the headings.
Be able to identify all the components of experimental design (e.g. title, hypothesis, independent variable - number of levels, trials, dependent variable and constants) so as to conduct a better experiment.
Identify sources of errors that are present in the experiment (e.g. Rate of stirring. Strength of stirring. Heat loss/gain through the environment. Human reaction time)
If they were to ask for a graph, decide on a bar graph if the data is categorical or counted, decide on a line graph if the data is continuous and assosiated with measurements involving a standard scale.
Remember to include a title for the graph.
Last but not least, DO NOT BREAK ANY APPARATUS!
